There is not much information the player should know about the game of craps. Craps General Rules

All gamblers place their bets, and then the \"shooter\" throws the dice. This is the 1st roll, called the \"come out roll\".

  • 7 or 11 (Natural): Pass Line bets win and pay 1:1.
  • 2, 3, or 12 (Craps): Pass Line bets lose.
  • 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10 (Point): Point is established. Shooter rolls again until point repeats (win 1:1) or 7 is rolled (loss, shooter changes).

Craps Common Bets

Pass Line Bet. The simplest type of bet. Placed before come out roll.

  • Victory: 7, 11 (pays 1:1)
  • Lose: 2, 3, 12
  • After point established: paid 1:1 if point hit again before 7.

Don't Pass Line. Opposite conditions to Pass Line.

Come Bet. Placed after come out roll; next roll acts as come-out for this bet.

  • Win: 7 or 11 (1:1 payout)

Don't Come Bet. Opposite to Come Bet.

Other kinds of bets exist, but they are not so safe for novice players.
